Now available at Submarinechannel. ‘About one year ago, we published a 200-page monograph+DVD titled “Modern Living - The Graphic Universe of Han Hoogerbrugge”. Good news for all you folks who believe that paper books are old technology, the DVD is now available without the book! This DVD (Mac/PC/DVD player compatible), designed and authored by Hoogerbrugge himself, features over 60 minutes of his works, including short films, animations, music videos, art works and commissioned works. It comes in a nice Hoogerbrugge-illustrated cardboard DVD box (the image above is a quite accurate, apart from the packaging) and will be available as of tomorrow’ |

Kunststripbeurs in Utrecht |

De stripintendant van het Fonds BKVB Gert Jan Pos organiseert op zaterdag 7 november tussen 10.00 en 17.00 uur tijdens het HAFF een Kunststripbeurs in de Janskerk in Utrecht. Midden in het land en midden in de stad, en op 2 minuten loopafstand van de festivallocaties van het HAFF. Striptekenaars, animatoren, illustratoren en beeldend kunstenaars zullen daar zelf hun originelen, zeefdrukken, boeken en merchandise aan de man brengen. Hans van de Meulengraaf (cKoe), Han Hoogerbrugge, Joost Swarte en Theo van de Boogaard zijn enkele namen van een lange lijst creatieven. |

After 18 months of hard labour ‘Modern Living - the graphic universe of Han Hoogerbrugge’ is ready to be send to the printer. The book (200 pages) comes with a DVD with a little more than one hour of short films + DVD rom section with most of the online works. Expected to be available September 2008. |
